Fix Transport

The FIX (Finantial Information eXchange) transport enables mule to send and receive FIX messages. FIX is a public domain protocol aimed at real-time electronic exchange of securities transactions and is owned by by FIX Protocol, Ltd (FPL).

The FIX transport is based on the QuickFIX/J library which "is a full featured messaging engine for the FIX protocol".

Currently, the state of the transport is of a pre-alpha, however, the more input we get from you guys the faster it will reach production standard so feel free to add requests on the Fix Jira or by sending an email to dev@fix.muleforge.org.

Under Installing the FIX transport guide one should find all the required information to install this transpor wheras configuring the FIX transport describes how you would go about configuring this transport. Under FIX examples one will see a number of examples which also come packaged with the project. Eventually, when we have enough examples, we might even split it up into another project alltogether.
