What is the update?
The Community Site (formerly the Documentation and Resource Center) will be streamlined and contain more information. Improvements include:
- A community tab where you can see examples of cool projects our community members have done
- Easy access to the forums and email feeds
- A single user name and password for accessing the entire Community Site, including documentation, mailing lists, and MuleForge
- A new look
Why do I need to reset my password?
Many users set up different passwords for various access levels within the Community. Because your password is encrypted, we never know what it is and cannot migrate it for you. This password reset is a one-time event.
Will I lose my old email threads and/or JIRA logs?
No. All of your email threads and JIRA logs are tied to your unique username and will carry over with that username. If you set up multiple accounts with multple user names, you will need to chose 1 user name to use across the entire community site. The username you had previously set up for JIRA is the username you can use to find old threads.
If I'm not already a member, why do I need to register?
Anyone interested in learning about, deploying, modifying, or contributing to Mule and/or Galaxy should join the online community. Members of the community get:
- Access to extensive documentation
- Guides and screencasts on how to get up and running with Mule and Galaxy
- Periodic updates on the product roadmap and MuleSource offerings
- Access to a MuleSource account executive who can answer questions about subscriptions, licensing, and training
