Fix Transport

The FIX (Financial Information eXchange) transport enables Mule to send and receive FIX messages. FIX is a public domain protocol aimed at real-time electronic exchange of securities transactions and is owned by FIX Protocol, Ltd (FPL).

The FIX transport is based on the QuickFIX/J library which "is a full featured messaging engine for the FIX protocol".

Currently we know that there are a number of live deployments and people are already developing applications using this transport. If you are a user it will be very helpful if you could send us some comments on your experiences when using this transport; good or bad, and give you the satisfaction of contributing something back to the community . Also feel free to add requests on the Fix Jira or by sending an email to dev@fix.muleforge.org.
