Tutorial

The tutorial walks you through creating a new configuration file and Mule ESB application using the Hello World Example. It includes steps for adding namespaces, connectors, transformers, and endpoints. It then walks you through message routing.

Prerequisites

  1. Make sure you have installed Mule according to the Quick Start or Installing Mule instructions.
  2. Read the Hello World Example page for an overview of what the Hello World application does and how it works.
  3. Lesson One uses Eclipse and the Mule IDE. See Quick Start for details on installing and setting up these applications. If you do not want to use Eclipse and the Mule IDE, you can skip to Lesson Two to walk through the XML configuration file, which you can edit in any text/XML editor.
