Mule iBeans is an integration framework that allows your existing Java web applications (webapps) to interact with other webapps and services. Mule iBeans provides a simple API and annotations that enable your webapp to perform common tasks such as:
* Receiving and sending email
* Subscribing and publishing to JMS queues and topics
* Scheduling tasks, such as polling database tables or RSS feeds
* Publishing REST-style services using JAX-RS annotations
* Publishing web services using JAX-WS
* Subscribing to and publishing AJAX events (Comet)
The FIX (Finantial Information eXchange) transport enables mule to send and receive FIX messages. This will allow mule to connect with FIX engines, adding another tranport to the Mule ESB.
This release introduces two transformers, mongodb:db-file-to-byte-array and mongodb:db-file-to-input-stream, that simplify getting at the contents of GridFSDBFiles.
The Smooks for Mule team is pleased to announce the availability of the Smooks for Mule 1.2 release. Smooks for Mule enables Message Transformation and Routing using the Smooks. The module is now compatible with the Mule 2.2.x releases. However the Mule 2.0.x and 2.1.x releases are not supported any more. The Smooks library is upgraded to version 1.3.1.
