Setting Security

In Tcat Server, users are assigned to roles, and those roles are granted specific privileges for reading, editing, and deleting artifacts and managing policies. You can override these settings for a specific artifact or all artifacts in a workspace.

To set security on an artifact or workspace:

1. Click a workspace or artifact on the Repository tab.
2. Click the Security sub-tab.
3. In the row for the role whose permissions you want to change, select whether you want to grant or revoke the right to read, modify, or delete the artifact(s), or to manage policies for the artifact(s).
4. Click Save.
