Description

Although FIX (Financial Information eXchange)is specific to the financial services industry, it is ubiquitous. It would be keen to add mule support for this as a mule transport. Quickfix just release an all java version of their fix engine, and it's open source, so there'll be no licensing issues for mule users there.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the suggestion. Did you have a go at doing this? Would be happy to include it in the distribution.

Cheers,

Ross

The license is BSD (read - Mule-compatible), 1.0.0-final version is available from http://www.quickfixj.org

Earlier this year I posted a couple of lines on the QuickFIX/J wiki:

http://www.quickfixj.org/confluence/display/qfj/Mule+Integration

I even had a stab at starting a connector but didn't get very far as limited time and all that.

If I was to help out could we get one into 2.0?

Whats the best examplar transport connector that covers all a (messaging) connectors functionality - JMS perhaps?

Hi Colin,

You can host this project in MuleForge now ( http://www.muleforge.org ) It won't be included in the core, but can be developed as an add-on perfectly fine. You can submit a project request (link back to this JIRA) and they'll set you up as a project despot.

This should be tracked as a MuleForge project. There is currently aslo a proposal for SWIFT, but it doesn't look like its seen any action: http://www.muleforge.org/projects.php?projectname=SWIFT%20Module
