Not going into 1.3. Does anybody know how useful JXTA support would actually be? AFAIK it would conflict conceptually with Jini/JavaSpaces, JGroups and and has not really been widely adopted; if that is a misconception on my part please set me straight.

I think our choices for the near future are somewhere in the realm of JGroups / JINI-JavaSpaces , and JXTA just adds to the confusion (major features overlap).

JGroups and Jini/JavaSpaces offer different things, but I think we can drop Jxta from the list

Have you changed your mind about JXTA? Furthermore, here [1] it looks like Mule supports JINI/JavaSpaces, but here [2] JINI is not mentioned. Am I missing something?
