Parameters:

statement - statement that contains the parameter

index - index of the parameter in the statement (first parameter is 1, the second is 2, etc)

Throws:

SQLException - if parameterIndex does not correspond to a parameter marker in the SQL statement; if a database access error occurs; this method is called on a closed statement

setParameterValue

connection - An active database connection, required by the ORACLE_XMLTYPE_CLASS constructor

Throws:

Exception - if there is a problem while creating the ORACLE_XMLTYPE_CLASS object (ORACLE_XMLTYPE_CLASS class is not found in the classpath, connection is closed, etc)

createXmlType

Creates an ORACLE_XMLTYPE_CLASS object from the received XML InputStream

getXmlTypeClass

                                throws ClassNotFoundException

Looks for the ORACLE_XMLTYPE_CLASS class in the classpath and returns a reference to it

Returns:

the ORACLE_XMLTYPE_CLASS class object

Throws:

ClassNotFoundException - if there required class in not in the classpath
